Airport Station Manager                                                     



Job Summary

Manage and develop the operational and revenue performance of an assigned airport location.  Actively oversee all daily activities that contribute to performance metrics. Essential duties and responsibilities, shown below, will vary accordingly based on assignment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Manage and improve the operational and revenue performance of an assigned airport location.
  • Grow market share.
  • Demand and develop a customer lead environment.
  • Support and develop the airport location with daily activities to serve customers effectively and improve location profitability.
  • Increase ancillary sales in the Store.
  • Motivate, coach and support team to increase inside and outside sales, revenue and profitability.
  • Track performance levels to establish goals with the store teams to create action plans and performance improvement strategies.
  • Communicate relevant performance and operational news, issues, updates, reminders, and procedural changes to the team.
  • Recruit, train, develop, motivate, coach, evaluate and counsel employees to ensure customer service, sales and quality standards are met.
  • Manage fleet to optimize revenue per unit, utilization and customer service.
  • Ensure compliance to all internal controls and security measures. Communicates and implements all company’s policies and procedures so that a consistent and safe environment is provided.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork, monthly reports, competitive information sheets, contracts, business correspondence itineraries, customer complaints, call reports, expense reports, etc. accurately and timely, as required.
  • Demonstrate behaviors that support Corporate Social Responsibility.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does have direct supervisory responsibilities of all employees in the store.


Reports to

District Manager


Responsibility Scope/Impact

Manages the performance of assigned locations and all corresponding revenue.  Manages assigned activities according to the business plan and direction from the District Manager and acts within the scope of position/company guidelines.



Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrates strong time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate with a wide variety of audiences on a wide variety of topics, including communicating all relevant operational and performance data to the team
  • Ability to coach and influence others to increase performance levels.
  • Strong team-building skills and ability to motivate team to continuously improve performance. Ability to effectively facilitate meetings.
  • Proficient Computer skills, Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills. Prior experience working with operations performance software a plus.
  • Valid Driver’s License.


Physical / Working Conditions

  • Physical skills required: occasional kneeling, bending, light lifting, light carrying, light pushing, and light pulling.
  • Working conditions may include occasional prolonged periods outdoors, and occasional work around vehicle exhaust. May be exposed to moderate noises, such as engines.


Travel Requirements:  Travel to Team Meetings, training courses and to support other stores is required.
