About Your Opportunity

As a Business Development Manager you will be committed to driving revenue growth by proactively planning, prospecting for, qualifying, developing and winning recurring and sustainable revenue from new corporate customer accounts!

You will be focus on customer’s prospects in the high growth/low service market segment, low ‘Share of Wallet’ and prospect accounts including key competitor business!

A specific book of business if not assigned for this role.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect and develop new opportunities within corporate markets to increase revenue to meet sales targets.
  • Identify, develop and manage key relationships with new customers to achieve profitable growth and increase Avis and Budget profiles in the markets.
  • Identify new opportunities in emerging domestic travel markets, and work with the Pacific Sales Manager-TMC to establish growth strategies and tactics to leverage.
  • Work closely with local operations state managers and franchise partners to identify, engage and develop sales pipeline and strategy.
  • Work with branch managers and company trainers to ensure that customer service levels meet or exceed company standards for this sector.
  • Proactively identify trends in the corporate sector, and possible opportunities or risks for Avis and Budget’s business.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven record of revenue growth and profit achievement in an account management role
  • Knowledge and application of the strategic dimension of sales and managing key accounts
  • Ability to maintain existing business and identify opportunities for further growth

  • Experience of sales account management
  • Written and verbal communication and excellent presentation skills
