The Business Support Centre (BSC) of Avis Budget Group, a globally leading vehicle rental service provider, is supporting the Group from beautiful Budapest mainly covering customer care, commercial support and financial services.

 Currently we are now looking for talented Assistants for our Back Office Receivables Team who are responsible for billing, cash application and pre-audit activities.

 BILLING: The aim is to bill special handling customers in a timely manner with charges we can invoice. Additional tasks are handling travel agency commission, making a lot of adjustments, creating manual invoices, receivables reporting, refunding customers with checks and through bank transfer.

 CASH APPLICATION: The team identifies and allocates the incoming rental payments received through mainly bank transfers against the correct outstanding invoices. They also handle partner queries and contact partners in relation to payment information asking for remittance advice. Team is also responsible for investigating and processing write offs, refund requests and correcting false bookings; creating journals for non-rental payments.

PRE-AUDIT: They ensure customer invoices are accurate to a high standard and are issued in a timely manner by assimilating, totalizing, pre-auditing, correcting and collating the accounts with vouchers.

  • min. high school education (University or College degree is an advantage, fresh graduates are highly welcome)
  • upper-intermediate English knowledge (verbal, written)
  • similar experience in Shared Service environment is an advantage but not a must
  • financial orientation and analytical skills
  • precise administration
  • strong problem solving skills, logical & proactive thinking, ability to take initiative
  • collaborative approach, team spirit
  • confident communication skills verbal and written; outstanding customer orientation
  • ability to prioritise in a fast paced environment
  • have an eye for and enjoy process improvement
  • experience in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel with confidence
