Your Opportunity:


We currently have a vacancy for a Reservations Consultant to join our team at the Head Office in Christchurch. This position will be full time.

Overview of position:

Reservation Consultants are responsible for dealing with booking queries over phone and e-mail. The main aim of this role is to ensure exceptional customer service is provided, queries are dealt with promptly and professionally and data is entered accurately so as to maximize sales and enhance the reputation of our company. 

The position requires strong sales and communication skills, together with attention to detail in both listening and reading customer requests and data entry, the ability to represent the group’s brands in the market place and the desire to develop an excellent working relationship with both customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deal with phone and email enquiries promptly and professionally
  • Determine customers’ needs, offer relevant information and options customers so as to provide exceptional service, while at the same time maximizing sales revenue
  • Process booking’s requests onto our system
  • Quote accurately all consumer required information and associated costs.
  • Maintain departmental and individual quality goals as outlined by management. 
  • Promote exemplary customer service to internal and external customers with courtesy and flexibility.
  • Hours of work will be 1.30pm to 10pm Tuesday - Saturday.

  • Can do attitude, energy, enthusiasm and a sense of humour.
  • Previous relevant experience in a customer service/ sales setting
